From poor credit to mortgage-ready — one week at a time
Ten questions about your credit build a plan that fits your situation: 8 weeks if you’re close, up to 36if you’re rebuilding from collections or a bankruptcy. Check off each week, log your score, and watch the line climb. Free, no login, no “credit repair” fees.
The building blocks
Your plan is assembled from these 15 weeks. You only see the ones that apply to you.
How we size your plan
- Target score: 620 (the practical FHA floor) if you’re under 580 or have a bankruptcy/foreclosure; 640 from 580–659; 680 from 660; 740 if you’re already at 700+.
- Length: starts at 8–24 weeks by score band, then adds time for collections (+4 to +8), repeated lates (+4), a bankruptcy/foreclosure (+4), a thin file or no cards (+4), and maxed cards (+2). Capped at 36 weeks.
- Order: reports and diagnosis first, then the fixes that post fastest (utilization, errors), then slower work (collections, new accounts), then debt ratio and down payment, with a mortgage-readiness check-in last.
- No AI, no guessing: the same answers always produce the same plan. It never asks for account numbers or your Social Security number.
Ten questions, about two minutes. You can start Week 1 today.
